On 10/27,  fire broke out in dormitories of an engineering contractor company working with one of our subsidiaries in Vietnam, resulting in one death.
The dormitories where the contractor housed its staff were located outside of the subsidiary’s campus.
The fire has been put out and its cause is under investigation by relevant authorities.
Safety First is the operating principle, and a global benchmark, that the Group does not compromise on. The Group holds its partners to the same standards.
Going forward, the Group will assist the contractor and provide all possible assistance to the families of the victims and other affected staff; we do not rule out the pursuit of liability.
