5.Cause of occurrence:
5.1. Company had decided to take legal action over the events
related to some former emoployees who breach the non-compete
agreement, founded Logah Technology Corporation (”Logah”)
and engage in similar R&D, manufacturing and marketing activities.
5.2. Taiwan HsinChu District Court executed the first
provisional seizure on 2006/02/24 against Logah to preserve
Company's rights.
5.3. Logah continues to engage in the unlawful acts of
infringement on company's intellectual properties. Through
these, Logah continues to make unlawful windfall at company's
expense.
6.Countermeasures:
6.1. Taiwan HsinChu District Court executed the second
provisional seizure today (2006/03/22) against Logah to
preserve Company's rights.
6.2. To prevent the few unworthy former employees or firms from
continual stealing intellectual properties to make unlawful
windfall, Company hereby reiterates its determination to
uphold its legal rights and protect its
stakeholders.
6.3 Company expresses its sincere gratitude to customers'
long term support and cooperation in fight against IP
infringements.
