5.Cause of occurrence: Company had decided to take legal
action over the events related to some former emoployees
who breach the non-compete agreement, founded Logah Technology
Corporation (”Logah”), allege infringement on company's
patents and engage in same R&D, manufacturing and
marketing activities.
6.Countermeasures:
6.1. To preserve Company's rights and to prevent Logah
unknowingly breaking the law, company had delivered written
notice to Logah previously, yet, till today, Logah had
no concrete response.
6.2. Taiwan HsinChu District Court executed the provisional
seizure today (2006/02/24) against Logah to preserve Company's
rights.
6.3. To prevent any unworthy former employees or firms from
continual stealing intellectual properties to make unlawful
windfall, Company hereby reiterates its determination to
uphold its legal rights and protect its stakeholders.
6.4. Company expresses its sincere
gratitude to customers' long term support and cooperation
in fight against IP infringements.
